What are Second Born earrings made out of?
Second Born earrings are made from high quality polymer clay and UV resin (unless they are a matte design). I jazz them up with embellishments like glitter, gold leaf, acrylic paint and more! I also use different materials for colouring some clay, such as alcohol inks, acrylic paint and mica powder. I source the majority of my supplies from other small Australian businesses.
Are Second Born earrings hypoallergenic?
I use stainless steel earring posts wherever possible, and this will be included in the description. Some styles use other base metals that may not be suitable for sensitive ears. If you have special requirements, please don't hesitate to reach out and I can make sure your order works for you.
How big are Second Born earrings? It's so hard to tell online!
The photos and videos provided for each pair will give you an idea of the size. For reference, the cards they are attached to are 7.5cm x 2.5cm (studs) and 9cm x 6.5cm (dangles). If you'd like exact measurements for a pair that tickle your fancy, feel free to reach out!
Are Second Born earrings heavy?
The beauty of polymer clay is that it is super lightweight! As someone who hates having weighed down earlobes, I’ve found it is one of the few materials that allow me to wear something big without feeling like my lobes are stretching. If you like the look of a chunky earring but don’t want the weight and haven’t tried polymer clay, I highly recommend it!
Does Second Born offer gift wrapping?
Buying a gift? I'd love to help make it feel extra special! All Second Born deliveries are already wrapped in colourful tissue paper. I can also include a free personalised note from you. Does Second Born ship globally?
Second Born Creative currently ships within Australia and internationally to Canada, New Zealand, United States and the United Kingdom.
When will I receive my order?
I put orders in the post within 2-3 business days. If you need an item urgently, please let me know and I will do my best to get it in the post sooner. Australia Post shipping times vary depending on location but are generally received within 2-6 business days. Express post is around 1-3 business days. Refer to the Australia Post website for more information on both domestic and international timeframes.
